To The Olympic Club, Frank Clifford, team Captain

Here here, to the boys of the Olympic Club! What a fantastic job on both hosting and playing of the 2013 Carr Mara tournament. cheers. mr. Frank Clifford and Mr Dennis Murphy can rest assured that every participant was welcomed, as if they were an Olympic Club member; not a detail was missed. The golf courses played wonderfully, and I do think the players in the inaugural USGA four-ball tournament will be pleasantly surprised with the fabulous ocean course. A special thanks to Mrs Candy for the unique and tasty hamburgers, fabulous. A few things that I will remember: Joe Mc Aleese in his sunglasses at Johnny Foley’s. The YMCA song, yikes, the pin placements on the lake course, day two, yikes again. Chris Mara’s heartfelt speech was beautiful, and most importantly, the friendship and camaraderie. What a great tournament. We at Garden City Golf Club are honoured to be a participant. Many thanks from all the Garden City boys, the “commander” says: see you all at Royal Portrush.
